Shotcrete Training (Pilot)

This 40hr course provides comprehensive instruction in the theory and practical application of shotcrete placement that CCL’s need to work safely in construction environments. This course includes instruction on the fundamentals of the dry-mix shotcrete process, materials and mix design principles, surface area preparation, safety protocols, quality control standards, proper nozzle techniques, and hands-on training in proper shotcrete techniques.

 

Formal assessments that include concrete chipping, sandblasting, and applying shotcrete must be successfully met to achieve certification. This course is labor intensive.

What happens next…?

  • You can submit an application on line and it will be delivered directly to the Training Fund.
  • Once received, your application will be assigned a position number and go into a course waiting list pool with all other applications.
  • Classes are scheduled based on demand. When we have received the minimum number of applications required to schedule a class, one will be added to the schedule.
  • Approximately one month before a class begins, texts are sent out to members on the waiting list. This text will offer you a seat in the class of your choice, but you must call the Training Fund to confirm your seat.
  • Your application will automatically be removed from the system after 6 months, so please reapply if you have not received notification from us.
